🔹 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026):
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 2 July 2002 and 1 July 2006)
CPL holders: up to 26 years
- Ground Duty (Tech & Non-Tech): 20 to 26 years (born between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2006)

Educational Qualifications:
- Flying Branch: Graduation (any discipline) with minimum 60% marks AND Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE/B Tech degree with minimum 60% marks
- Ground Duty (Technical): B.E./B.Tech in relevant branches with minimum 60%
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks
For some roles, specific qualifications like MBA, MCA, etc., are preferred
- NCC Special Entry: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate is mandatory

- Online Written Test (AFCAT + EKT, if applicable)
- AFSB Interview (Air Force Selection Board)

🔹 Exam Pattern
AFCAT Exam (All Candidates)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 300
- Subjects: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude
EKT Exam (Technical Branch only)
- Duration: 45 Minutes
- Total Marks: 150
- Subjects: Based on Engineering discipline
Marking Scheme: +3 for correct, -1 for wrong answer

- Must meet physical and medical standards prescribed by IAF
- Vision, height, weight, hearing, and fitness will be tested during medicals
