🔹 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
• Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026):
  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 2 July 2002 and 1 July 2006)
    CPL holders: up to 26 years
  • Ground Duty (Tech & Non-Tech): 20 to 26 years (born between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2006)
• Educational Qualifications:
  • Flying Branch: Graduation (any discipline) with minimum 60% marks AND Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE/B Tech degree with minimum 60% marks
  • Ground Duty (Technical): B.E./B.Tech in relevant branches with minimum 60%
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks
    For some roles, specific qualifications like MBA, MCA, etc., are preferred
  • NCC Special Entry: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate is mandatory
    Must meet flying branch eligibility

2. AFSB Interview (Air Force Selection Board)

🔹 Exam Pattern

AFCAT Exam (All Candidates)

• Duration: 2 Hours
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 300
• Subjects: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude

EKT Exam (Technical Branch only)

• Duration: 45 Minutes
• Total Marks: 150
• Subjects: Based on Engineering discipline

🔹 Physical & Medical Standards

• Must meet physical and medical standards prescribed by IAF
• Vision, height, weight, hearing, and fitness will be tested during medicals
